We accept all car insurances from a car accident*, Florida Blue Select, Cigna, Avmed, PPO, Aetna, PPO. *note: in the state of Florida, a person injured in a car accident MUST seek medical care from a licensed physician or hospital within 14 days of the accident to received medical benefits from car insurance.

Will the doctor do an adjustment on the first visit?

In order to administer the best care, Dr. Reese examines the patient on the first visit. It is common for the patient to be sent for x-rays and return for a second visit. It is standard of care to examine and x-ray patients in order to establish them in the practice.


Will I need x-rays?

That is decided upon on a case by case basis. It is very likely x-rays will be requested for a patient who has had no x-ray taken within two years of the initial visit to The Joint Spinal Center. It is standard of practice to evaluate x-rays prior to adjusted patients who are new to a practice.oming Soon!

 

How many times will I need to see the chiropractor? Can she make my pain go away today?

Everyone is different in physical stature and condition. It is impossible to know how long it will take until a painful issue is resolved. When patients follow the care plan, including exercising at home as instructed by the chiropractor, he/she feels better faster and healing time is decreased.

 

Do you prescribe medication?
It is not in the scope of practice for a chiropractor to prescribe medication. Dr. Reese may refer a patient to a practitioner who can administer medication.
